Our editorial approach

Editorial standards and corrections

Graildex publishes collection-tracking tools and hobby reference guides. This page explains how information is selected, presented and corrected so visitors can evaluate it independently.

What our guides contribute

Our guides organize publicly checkable facts into collector workflows: comparing kit editions, checking physical-media identifiers, estimating delivered costs and maintaining an accurate inventory. Examples and checklists are independently written for Graildex. They are educational tools, not a claim that we personally tested every product, conducted laboratory measurements or inspected every release.

Product specifications, regional availability and prices can change. A general guideline should never be read as a verified statement about every edition of a product.

Where information comes from

When possible, guide pages include direct links to primary sources such as manufacturers' manuals, published preservation guidance, record-release databases and official import information. External review links are identified as references, not reproduced as Graildex-owned reporting.

The Dalong reference catalogue is an independent directory, not an official partnership and not a mirror of Dalong's photographs or reviews. Third-party media is not treated as reusable simply because it can be viewed online. Licensed images, where displayed, must include attribution and a link to their stated license and original source.

Pricing and product listings

Sample prices in the public demo are fictional and demonstrate calculation and filtering. Prices elsewhere may be estimates, historical references or third-party listing values; they are not guaranteed current offers. Compare the exact edition, currency, shipping, tax and seller conditions before using any figure to make a purchasing decision.

A product title or barcode alone may not distinguish every pressing, kit revision, pack-in or regional release. Our tools should mark uncertain matches rather than invent details.

Community contributions

Visitor feedback, suggestions and first-hand observations are not automatically equivalent to independently verified editorial conclusions. Submissions require review before being used in public references. We do not knowingly publish copied third-party reviews as original contributor content.

Corrections and transparency

If you spot a broken source link, a mismatched kit photograph, an inaccurate edition, a typo or an outdated price, please send the page URL, the issue and (if available) a verifiable source. We assess each correction before updating the public page. Published dates are not automatically changed simply to suggest freshness.

Visitors can use the interactive sample vault without an account or read the collecting guides for practical reference workflows. The demo's example items are not real listings or personal collection records.
